Sales Director

 

Job Description:

At InsightSquared our management philosophy is to create an environment for individual success.  In order to help individual contributors realize their full potential and become the best version of themselves.  The Sales Director is responsible for driving Gold Standard performance across the team.  Sales Directors are ultimately accountable to delivering against the commercial goals.  In order to do this they must focus on (obsess over) their teams ability to triangulate around activities, skills and knowledge,  A Sales Director should focus on three key areas:

  1. Leadership – by example.  Setting the standards for attitude and effort and indeed culture   
  2. Mentorship – day to day coaching
  3. Management – operational excellence and delivering against InsightSquared Gold Standard performance measures

 

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly business reviews with Account Executives
  • Weekly forecast reviews with senior leadership
  • Monthly performance reviews with individual Account Executives
  • Continuous skills development of Account Executives
  • Working with training and product marketing group to support in content development
  • Being the first line of escalation for any issues / support
  • Giving tactical advice / coaching tips
  • Consolidating feedback from the team to discuss with senior management
  • Be a key business partner to other departments
  • Managing operations with a daily / weekly / monthly reporting cadence
  • Continuous evaluation of ‘how to get better’ by thinking about business process and technology enablers
